This lovely shrub might just worm its way into your heart.
Wormwood is a small perennial shrub growing to approximately 100cm. It has silvery grey/green leaves and pale yellow flowers. The scent of Wormwood is said to repels slugs, beetles, ants, flies, mosquitoes, caterpillars and even mice. We grow Wormwood around our chicken coop as it is believed to help them get rid of pesky intestinal worms - the idea is that the chooks will self medicate when they peck away at the plant.
May inhibit the growth of other nearby plants.
