This unique red stemmed bunching (or spring) onion originates from Japan and is popular in many Asian countries. The leaves and stalks are very tender with a great punch of flavour. Easy to grow and suited to variety of soil types, this is must grow heirloom variety! You don't need to harvest the whole plant at once - if you want continual supply simply cut down and it will regenerate and keep producing.
