This is a Russian variety of kale that produces frilled leaves which are delicious both raw or cooked. Very hardy variety, it will tolerate cold well. A productive choice for the backyard gardener, as each plant can produce for well over a year, in between attacks from the white cabbage moth and its caterpillars! Highly nutritious.
