Also known as "Turnip-rooted celery", celeriac can be used for all of its bulb, stem and leaves. It can also be enjoyed raw, steamed, roasted or in soups and stews. The White Alabaster bulb has white flesh which discolours less than other varieties when cooked, while the stem and leaves have a strong celery flavour. It will grow well into cold weather, with the cold helping to covert the starches into sugars.
Plant as per instructions on your seed packaging.
